According to Wikipedia, monarchs have different names. For example: King (especially used in Europe), Emperor (in specific historical moments), Czar (in Russia), Pharaoh (in Egypt), Kan (for Tatar people), Sultan (in Islamic countries) ... etc. In the end all of these names refer to a political or symbolic head of a country. Currently monarchies are understood differently in different continents. For example, while European kings are diplomatic figures with very little political power, in Arabic countries they still hold most of the power. This list displays today's most influential monarchs based on their country's GDP.
