Cascades or waterfalls are places where water drops usually due to a river's flow, generally on uneven terrain. Waterfalls may have different origins, but in most cases they are formed by the unequal resistance of rocks to the erosion produced by flowing water. Some of the most famous waterfalls in the world are the Iguazu Waterfalls, which are comprised of 275 waterfalls of different heights, Niagara Falls, located on the border between the United States and Canada, and Angel Falls in Venezuela. This ranking lists the World's Tallest Waterfalls by the height of their vertical drops.
