The Best Playwrights of All Time »

(93 votes)

The Greeks were the first playwrights, as far as we know, around the 5th century B.C. But since then many authors have come and gone and genres have changed considerably. The dramas written by some have given rise to some of the best scripts theaters have known, some of which are considered to be true works of art. We all have our favorite dramatic plays and playwrights but we alone, all of us, can impartially decide on the best playwright of all time. Let's find out! Vote!
