Choosing the best goalkeepers of a season has generated lots of controversy because, although numbers don`t lie, the goals scored against them isn`t just the goalkeeper`s fault, but also the defense and team`s fault. Throughout history there have been countless talented goalkeepers in not only blocking shots, like Jorge Campos the goalkeeper-striker, but also in their ability to shoot penalty and foul shots, like Chilavert. It`s difficult to pick the best goalkeepers of a season, but harder still to pick the best in history. So help us decide by voting for the best goalkeepers in history.
