The "World Series by Renault" is a single-seater motorsport competition held in Europe, with engines provided by Renault (and previously provided by Nissan). It was founded in 1998 as the "Open Fortuna by Nissan." The series subsequently changed names several times, mainly taking the primary sponsor's name, but it was also unofficially known as "Formula Nissan." In 2005 the series joined the "Formula Renault V6 Eurocup" (which had been started in 2003) and it became the World Series by Renault. This classification lists the drivers of all the seasons of this competition.
