(65 votes)

Architecture is the technique and art of projecting buildings and structures that affect man´s environment. According to the popular clichés, architecture is based on three principles: Beauty (Venustas), Durability (Firmitas) and Utility (Utilitas). Consequently, architecture can be defined as a balance between these three elements, with none of them standing out from the other two. The candidates in this ranking are all the architects in Classora's knowledge base, regardless of their period. Do you know your architecture? Go ahead and participate!
