Ranking of the Best Soundtracks in Film History »

(51 votes)

Interestingly enough, the first attempts to incorporate a soundtrack into a movie involved synchronizing a phonograph to the images of a projector. Needless to say this process was problematic and it didn't take long for it to improve. Nowadays the musical soundtracks of films, video games, television and radio shows have sold and continue to sell millions of albums. And this is not a coincidence as many great composers like John Williams and Vangelis have placed their talent at the disposal of the Seventh Art. Go ahead and vote in this ranking to decide which movies have the best soundtracks.
