Formula 1 is the most prestigious international vehicle competition. It is also known as the "Queen of Motor Racing" because the vehicles that are used are one-seaters and they employ the world's most advanced technology. Each race is called a Grand Prix and the competition that incorporates them all is called the Formula 1 World Championship. This ranking indicates the final classification of the drivers of each edition, from the competition's beginnings in 1950 to date. Noteworthy names include Nino Farina, the first winner, Juan Manuel Fangio, Ayrton Senna and of course, the best driver historically speaking: Michael Schumacher.
