For a long time the British Formula 3 has been the world's most prestigious and relevant Formula 3 championship. It is more international than its French, German and Italian counterparts. Success in British Formula 3 once meant immediate contact with Formula 1 scouts. But in 2003 the German and French championships fused together to form Formula 3 Euro Series, and since then British participation and prestige have decreased and the best Formula 3 drivers have opted instead to participate in the F3 Euro Series. This classification lists the drivers of all British Formula 3 seasons.
